Restorative Action Program (RAP)
By working in partnership with the Saskatoon Police Service, RAP provides restorative action programming and services that supports the social and emotional wellbeing of youth. RAP facilitators deal with bullying, physical violence, crime, mental health, substance abuse, suicide, and self-harm – with programming delivered to over 8000 youth across nine Saskatoon high schools. They are skillfully trained in mediation, conflict resolution, and harm reduction. Facilitators understand group and social dynamics, and have a strong rapport with the staff, students and caregivers within their schools. By utilizing the professional expertise of facilitators, police are able to collaborate, problem solve and effectively resolve many diverse issues.
